About Nerys Davies

White City based Osteopath

Nerys is an experienced Osteopath working in White City. Nerys holds a Masters in Osteopathy from The British College of Osteopathic Medicine and has experience working at a number of clinics which include an associate position at West London Osteopaths.

She began her career as an artist, winning a residency with The Household Cavalry and completing various portrait projects worldwide, eventually becoming a finalist in the National Portrait Awards. Injury and repetitive strain led to exercise rehabilitation. For Nerys Osteopathy became a way of getting better and exercise prescription was a lifeline.

Nerys works with many patients who experience a range of medical conditions from sports injuries, age related wear and tear as well as chronic illness. Every patient faces different challenges and requires a tailor made treatment. The comfort of patients is always a priority for Nerys and helping them get back to the activities that they enjoy in the shortest amount of time is paramount.

As well as giving plenty of advice, Nerys includes soft tissue techniques, stretching and manipulation into her treatments, as well as providing the relevant home exercises which are geared towards specific health needs. Nerys’ special interests lie in neck and shoulder problems as well as postural spinal issues. She also has lots of experience treating mums and babies over the years, which helps her advise on ways in which parents can implement good health behaviours early for the best health in the future.

If you are unable to visit Nerys at her clinic or have mobility problems, then home visits are also available upon request. She is also available to call or text when she is free in between patients at the clinics. You can always message and she is happy to answer questions regarding Osteopathy or general health concerns.

Nerys is registered with The General Osteopathic Council (GOSC) and The Institute of Osteopathy (IO). As a registered Osteopath she takes part in regular courses in areas of great interest as part of her continued professional development.
